Overview
Kerala, known as “God’s Own Country,” is one of India’s most relaxed and scenic destinations. Set along the southwest coast, it offers a mix of lush backwaters, palm-lined beaches, and misty hill stations. A cruise through the Alleppey Backwaters is a must, with houseboats drifting past village life and rice fields. The tea plantations of Munnar add a cool, green contrast, while the coastline invites slow beach days. Kerala is also known for Ayurveda, making it ideal for wellness escapes alongside nature, culture, and genuinely warm hospitality.

Day-to-day itinerary
Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Arrive at Kochi Airport. Tamarind Global representative will meet you at the exit of terminal building after which you
would be transferred to your hotel. Freshen up and proceed for Kochi sightseeing. Visit Fort Kochi and Mattancherry
island, which consists of Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace also known as Dutch Palace, Famous Chinese Fishing
nets, St. Francis church and many more historic sites. Evening at leisure.
Overnight at Kochi
After breakfast, proceed to Munnar. Enroute visit Abhayaranyam where rehabilitating elephants are taken care of.

After breakfast, explore Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point and Flower
Garden.

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar). Post check-in, proceed for sightseeing tour of Periyar. Set high in the ranges
of the Western Ghats in Kerala, is the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. Periyar wildlife sanctuary has a
picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to view the wildlife at close quarters. Later,
take a spice plantation tour.
Overnight in Thekkady.
After breakfast, enjoy full day at leisure in Thekkady.
Overnight stay in Thekkady
After breakfast get transferred to Kumarakom. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland, making a labyrinth
of lagoons, canals and waterways. Spend the rest of the day exploring your beautiful resort of Kumarakom.
Overnight at Kumarakom.
Today, enjoy your visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Also, you may want to indulge yourself with some Ayurveda
treatments in your hotel (On a direct-payment basis).
