Things to do in Oman

Oman is praised for its history, architectural marvels, and charming cultural heritage. Oman, which boasts a particularly notable terrain, has recently become one of the most sought-after travel destinations in the Middle East. Along the shore, there are beaches and marinas where you may chill in addition to hilly valleys, rocky canyons, and sloping sand dunes.

Muscat
Muscat, the capital of Oman, has something for everyone and is a place that hosts forts, museums, palaces, and markets. There are twin forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani in Muscat, which are now transformed into museums and are accessible to general public, unlike the Al Alam Royal Palace. Non-Muslim visitors can explore the only yet magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and take in its highlights. The top-notch museums and galleries in the capital provide an excellent introduction to Omani history and culture. Even well-known contemporary tourist destinations like the Royal Opera House are in awe of the scale and grandeur of traditional Islamic architecture.
Wahiba Sands
The wide, desolate Wahiba Sands region is covered in copper-orange and golden-yellow dunes that look like enormous ripples. One of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the entire nation is without a doubt this vast desert. You won't soon forget the experience of exploring the desert on camelback or spending the night at a desert camp, and waking up in the solitude of the desert.
Musandam Fjords
The highlights of visiting the Musandam Fjords, sometimes known as the Norway of Arabia, are boat tours that explore the coastlines, dolphin sightings, or scuba diving at sea. Also, if you pick the traditional Omani boats, the experience of exploring this all doubles. This area is the greatest in Oman for environment enthusiasts to visit because of the limited population and rich animals. Don't skip Telegraph Island, which is right off the shore and the ideal location for history buffs, or the Khasab Fortress.
Nizwa
The mountains that separate Muscat and the coast from the historic and the 2nd largest city of Oman, Nizwa is lined with palm groves. The city's amazing fort, a vast labyrinth of towers, underground corridors, stairwells, and secret chambers constructed in the 17th century under the leadership of Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'ribi, is still the thing that makes the city famous. The fort's earliest components, however, stretch all the way back to the ninth century. The massive cylindrical tower is the focal point of the Nizwa fort. A fantastic museum is located inside the fortress, and the nearby Nizwa Souq is a shoppers' dream come true.
